Nobuyuki Osaki hat in den letzten Jahren seine unverwechselbaren Kunstwerke – Gemälde, die zerfließen und sich auflösen – in internationalen Museen und Galerien präsentiert. Mit seiner Kunst, der sich auflösenden Bilder, offenbart er die Unwirklichkeit des Gemäldes. Er benutzt diese Unwirklichkeit als Metapher und produziert so diverse Kunstwerke mit dem Thema des „Hinterfragens der Realität“, seiner eigenen Wahrnehmung und der der Gesellschaft.
